You can’t accuse Hampton head coach Edward Joyner of not having a sense of humor about his team’s chances against undefeated Kentucky. During today’s post-game press conference following the Pirates’ win against Manhattan, Joyner pretended to call Jesus to ask about his team’s odds against the Wildcats. Apparently, Jesus went chalk in his bracket.

During a media session earlier in the week, when asked about a possible match-up with Kentucky, Joyner said “you’ve got to hope you’ve got Jesus on speed dial”. This is your second installment of “Hampton is your new favorite 16 seed.”
