Kentucky’s fan base is certainly excited for the 2014-2015 campaign to get under away, considering the team returns a number of star players and will bring in one of the top recruiting classes in the country. But one player who might need a little more time before tip-off in mid-November is returning junior forward Willie Cauley-Stein. Cauley-Stein injured his left ankle during last year’s NCAA Tournament and eventually had surgery to correct the issue. The subsequent recovery has taken a number of months and though WCS appears to be on track, he won’t be playing with the Wildcats in the Bahamas later this summer.
Friday, Cauley-Stein sent out an inspirational message to his Twitter followers. He wants them to know that he may be down, but he’s not out. He also used the hashtag #TheComeback.
I might be down, but I certainly ain’t out.. #TheComeback

Cauley-Stein has always been a fan favorite in Lexington. There is no doubt that when he does return to the Wildcats’ lineup, he’ll have overwhelming support from UK’s faithful.
