There aren’t many college football fans – well, at least outside of Baton Rouge – who are giving the LSU Tigers much of a chance this year in the SEC West, much less the SEC, given how much talent the program lost after last season. But Tigers head coach Les Miles made quite a statement today towards the end of his opening speech at SEC Media Days. He thinks LSU is going to win every game on its schedule. Check this out:
Les Miles: If we continue to do the things that we have done in the past, we will earn our way. I like us, and I like us in every game. #LSU

Miles has always been a quote machine, and there’s certainly nothing wrong with believing in your players, but it’s going to be very, very difficult to back those words up. LSU opens the season with Wisconsin, a Big Ten power, and has to play both (home) Alabama and (away) Auburn – the last two SEC champions. They’ll also travel to College Station – one of the most difficult places in the nation to play – to take on Texas A&M in their final regular season contest. Still, bet against Miles if you dare.
