One of the most memorable plays in the history of Clemson football occurred on Dec. 31, 2012.
It was the Chick-fil-A Bowl and the Tigers were taking on LSU. Trailing, 24-22, with 1:22 remaining in the fourth quarter, Clemson went for it on 4th-and-16 with the ball on its 14-yard line. Tajh Boyd dropped back to pass, avoided pressure, and completed a 26-yard pass to DeAndre Hopkins. About a minute later, Chandler Catanzaro kicked a 37-yard field goal, giving Clemson a 25-24 victory.
A Clemson fan recently visited LSU. He took a picture outside Tiger Stadium, holding up a sign reminding the Baton Rouge faithful of the devastating play his team made two seasons ago.

The 4th-and-16 play will forever be remembered by Clemson fans. Someone even made a tribute video on YouTube:
