Earlier Friday, we showed you some photos and a short video of LSU’s locker room renovations – part of a project that will also increase Tiger Stadium’s capacity to over 100,000 on game days. But there’s apparently a bit more that wasn’t originally revealed. There are a number of signs in the Tigers’ team room, including a purple-and-gold bracket for the inaugural College Football Playoff.

We’ve seen a few other programs with similar graphics – many just add the national championship game to their schedules. Needless to say, it’s an ambitious move.
As for the possibility of LSU actually reaching the playoff, it’s going to be a tough road. With Alabama and Auburn in the SEC West, the young Tigers will have to play beyond their years if they’re to challenge for a league title. We’d never bet against Les Miles though…
