Before Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson was putting together All-Pro level seasons and signing contracts for $70 million, he was just a student at LSU hoping to make it to the big leagues. Saturday night, Peterson was on-hand to support his Tigers as they faced Wisconsin in the Texas Kickoff Classic. After the contest, which LSU pulled out despite trailing 24-7 at one point, Peterson found his former coach Les Miles on the field.
In true 2014 form, he just wanted to take a selfie with him.
It’s about as good an endorsement as a coach like Miles can get – a former player returning to watch his alma mater play. You can even hear an “I love you too” in there towards the end.
