Mississippi State has historically been one of the stronger SEC basketball programs, but over the last three seasons the Bulldogs have gone just 37-60 overall, and 13-41 in conference play. Mississippi State won an SEC Tournament as recently as 2009, and made its only Final Four in 1996. While Kentucky and Florida should remain the teams to beat in the SEC, there is definitely room for a team like the Bulldogs to make some noise down the road.
