Mississippi State University is located in Starkville, Miss., a small southern town with a population just shy of 24,000. If you could look up The Opposite of Las Vegas in a dictionary, a place like Starkville would likely appear.
So it’s a little confusing why Mississippi State’s football program is comparing its hometown to the Nevada wonderland.

Like everything in college football these days, that photo is probably something to show off to recruits. But if a high school prospect is expecting Mississippi State’s campus to be like Las Vegas, they won’t be pleased when they arrive.
