Jontay Porter will join his brother, Michael, at Mizzou this upcoming season.
Five-star power forward Jontay Porter has officially reclassified to 2017, and he’ll now be able to join his brother, No. 1 overall recruit Michael Porter Jr., at Mizzou for the 2017-18 season.
Porter announced the news on Twitter yesterday.

Porter initially committed to the Tigers this past May after decommitting from the Washington Huskies following the dismissal of their head coach, Lorenzo Romar.
Porter is the 18th-ranked recruit in the nation, and his reclassification bumps the 2017 Mizzou recruiting class all the way up to No. 8 in the nation and No. 3 in the SEC, per 247 Sports.
The Tigers have gone 8-46 in SEC play the past three seasons, but expectations will be high this year for head coach Counzo Martin in his first season at Mizzou.
