Missouri may have won the Cotton Bowl over Oklahoma State tonight, but the Tigers will be losing one of the biggest reasons for their success in 2013-2014. Star junior defensive end Kony Ealy announced after the victory that he will be taking his talents to the NFL next season. Ealy is currently projected by most scouts as a first or second round pick in next April’s draft.
Kony Ealy: “I love my teammates, I love my coaches, I’ve grown from a boy to a man, it is time for me to go on to the next level.”

Ealy is listed at 6-foot-5, 275 pounds and is widely regarded as a physical specimen. He recorded six sacks and 12 tackles for loss this past season.
