From the second we heard about Jadeveon Clowney’s second speeding ticket in less than a month, we knew that the next Steve Spurrier press conference was going to be fantastic. Surely, it was. Spurrier, as he often does, said what everyone was thinking when they heard about the hefty fines Clowney is going to have to pay – he’ll be able to afford it soon. Clowney is expected to declare for the NFL Draft next week after the Gamecocks’ Capital One Bowl matchup with Wisconsin.
Steve Spurrier on Clowney’s 2nd speeding ticket: “At least he’ll have enough money to pay for it in a week or so.”

He also dropped a funny line about Clowney needing to attend driving school – which, honestly, may not be such a bad idea.
Classic Spurrier on Clowney speeding. “He needs to go to driving school. Hopefully they’ll send him there after the bowl game.” #Priceless

Something tells me Spurrier will figure out a way to make sure Clowney’s transportation is taken care of for next week’s game.
