Former Alabama running back Alvin Kamara will be playing for one of the Crimson Tide’s rivals in 2015. The 2013 four-star recruit announced on Twitter today that he is transferring to Tennessee.
I am committed to THE University of Tennessee. *exhales* #GoVols

Kamara, who redshirted the 2013 season at Alabama, will play at Hutchinson Community College this fall, and presumably be eligible to play for the Volunteers in 2015.
He arrived in Tuscaloosa as a highly regarded recruit, but fell behind Derrick Henry and Altee Tenpenny on Alabama’s depth chart. Kamara decided to head to junior college in February.
Kamara’s time at Alabama was troubled. He injured his knee before the 2013 season began, missed practices the week of the LSU game–which Nick Saban attributed to “behavioral issues–and was suspended for the Sugar Bowl.
Kamara was ranked as the No. 45 player in the 2013 recruiting class by Rivals.com.
