A few days ago, we discovered that Georgia has been sending out hand-drawn pictures of high school players in their recruiting letters. Recruiting is a copy-cat’s game, and SEC East rival Tennessee has joined in on what is certain to become a recruiting fad.
Tennessee’s approach is a bit different. Georgia showed recruits wearing half-jerseys of their high school and UGA, while Tennessee has them in full Volunteers garb. Either way, we have to admit, this is a pretty cool individual touch.
Here is the drawing they sent four-star defensive end D’Andre Walker from Fairburn, Georgia.

Aspiring artists should check with their local division one universities to see if they want to jump on board with this trend.
