Steve Spurrier may be the head coach at South Carolina in 2013, but every once in a while, he reverts back to his Florida Gators days and fires a shot at one of their biggest rivals, the Tennessee Volunteers. Last month, Spurrier trolled the Vols by reminding everyone on the SEC teleconference that UT hadn’t beaten UF in eight years. Today, he took a shot at the school’s high turnover rate at the head coaching position. Via Josh Kendall of The State:
Spurrier: “Will be the 14th time I’ve coached in Neyland Stadium. … I’ve coached there more than some of their head coaches.”

As is always the case with Spurrier, there is a little bit of truth to what he’s saying. Lane Kiffin only stayed one season in Knoxville, and Butch Jones is in his first year with the program. Jones’ predecessor Derek Dooley lasted just under three seasons.
