The Vols have a new head man.
Alabama defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt has been hired as the new head coach at Tennessee.
The Vols announced the move moments ago.
Pruitt is a first-time head coach but has extensive coordinating experience at Alabama, Florida State and Georgia.
Jeremy Pruitt has been named the 26th head coach of the Tennessee football program.

Tennessee’s coaching search was volatile and drew plenty of ridicule, but Pruitt comes with a strong rep.

Tennessee will officially introduce Pruitt during a press conference tonight at 6:05 p.m. ET.
