The Texas A&M football coaching staff is hoping that when kickers Josh Lambo and Taylor Bertolet step on the field this fall, the goal posts look extra, extra wide. The Aggies have installed new super-narrow Arena League style goal posts on their practice field to improve kicking accuracy. Special Teams Coordinator Jeff Banks tweeted out a photo of the new asset yesterday.

Texas A&M actually had decent kicking statistics last year – the Aggies made 10-of-13 field goals and 73-of-77 extra point tries. But perhaps with a little more confidence in their kicking game, they could go for it on fourth down a little less in 2014.
