Immediately following Texas A&M quarterback Kenny Hill’s performance this past Thursday against South Carolina, fans started trying to come up with a solid nickname for the new Aggies star. Hill himself rejected a number of options, including “Kenny Football”, but Tuesday, he finally agreed that one, in particular, was okay with him.

The word “trill”, according to Urban Dictionary, is some sort of combination of the words true and real. The word, though not invented by Houston-area rapper Bun B, is certainly most associated with him – he’s released four solo albums that contain the word in their titles. Tuesday, he weighed in on Hill’s new nickname – he’s not ready to sign off on it just yet.
Like the idea of “Kenny Trill” but I think @coachsumlin would agree one good game alone doesn’t make you trill. He’s on his way though!

Perhaps Hill will have to keep putting on record-setting performances to earn it – at least from Bun B. It’s safe to say that the rest of the college football-watching world will be using the new nickname by Saturday.
