College football debuts don’t get much better than the one Kenny Hill is having tonight for Texas A&M.
The redshirt sophomore, making his first career start for the Aggies, is leading Kevin Sumlin’s squad to a blowout victory on the road against South Carolina. Hill has lit up the Gamecocks’ defense, throwing for 500-plus yards and three touchdowns through three-plus quarters at Williams-Brice Stadium.
Hill has broken a record of Texas A&M’s 2012 Heisman winner, too.
School record passing yards for Kenny Hill. Stands at 487 with 8:21 left. Old record was 464 by some guy named Johnny Manziel

One game into his starting career, Hill has already outdone Johnny Manziel (in one category, at least). That’s a pretty decent way to start a season.
