This afternoon, Vanderbilt capped a very successful regular season with a win over Wake Forest, 23-21, in Nashville. The Commodores sport an 8-4 record as they wait to see which bowl they’ll be playing in a few weeks from now.
While the win was great, there may have been an even better moment after the game, when wide receiver Jordan Matthews posed for a picture with Robby Novak, better known as Kid President:

Kid President is an inspiration for many people because he suffers from osteogenesis imperfecta, but doesn’t let the disease define him or slow him down from achieving his goal of “making the world more awesome.” He visits Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt (a place where the Vanderbilt team often hangs out with the kids) , so he of course was thrilled by the Commodores’ win, and Matthews was just as thrilled to be able to see him after it.
