Vanderbilt sophomore defensive end Caleb Azubike may not have been able to play in Saturday’s game against Tennessee, but he’s sure found a way to make himself a part of the storyline. Azubike, who injured his leg last week against Kentucky and wasn’t able to suit up against the Vols, took to Twitter after the game to rub the Commodores’ victory in the faces of UT fans.
Sorry UT Tried To Warn Y’all. We Own The State!!! Maybe Next Time. Have Fun At Home This Christmas. #NoBowl

After his initial tweet, he went back/forth with dozens of angry Tennessee fans. It got personal very quickly.
You can’t blame Azubike for being excited about the victory – the team’s second in a row over Tennessee – but perhaps he should have gone about celebrating a different way. I have a feeling that coach James Franklin won’t be too thrilled here.
