The end of the Cincinnati vs. Xavier game seems to have been fun.

With apologies to Duke vs. North Carolina and Kentucky vs. Louisville, Cincinnati vs. Xavier is probably the nastiest rivalry in college basketball. Saturday, we were reminded why yet again.

According to multiple reporters, after Cincinnati's loss to Xavier in the Crosstown Shootout, Bearcats head coach Mick Cronin got into it with an opposing player. The two reportedly needed to be separated.

Cronin, after the game, said that the player - J.P. Macura - told him to "eff off" three times during the game.

There's no footage, but by Shannon Russell of WCPO did a great job live-tweeting it all.

We've seen coaches go after each other. We've seen players go after each other. But a coach getting into it physically with a player? That's new.

Update: Here's video, shot by a fan:

Xavier, meanwhile, won the game, 89-76.
