Chamoda Kennedy-Palmore, a walk-on running back at the University of Cincinnati, died Thursday at the age of 19 when a vehicle crashed into his motorcycle.
The redshirt freshman, in his second year with the Bearcats’ program, was part of the “school-start tryout group” of players who joined the team for 2014, Cincinnati officials said.
Tommy Tuberville’s team will honor their fallen player with a decal on their helmets.

Ohio State, which hosts Cincinnati this evening in Columbus, will hold a moment of silence for Kennedy-Palmore prior to kickoff.
The Buckeyes and Bearcats are set to kick off at 6 p.m. E.T. The game will be televised on BTN.
