With so many games canceled or postponed due to COVID-19, Week 11 of the 2020 college football season didn’t give us a whole lot of drama. But there is a new Coaches’ Poll Top 25 out.
Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson, Georgia, Texas A&M, LSU and BYU were all out of action this week. The games with the Crimson Tide, Buckeyes and Bulldogs were all canceled due to COVID-19.
There were ultimately no changes in the top 11 as all of those teams either won or didn’t play this week. But a pair of Big Ten West teams – Wisconsin and Northwestern – picked up big wins over Michigan and Purdue respectively and moved up a bunch of spots.
The Badgers now sit at No. 12 on the season, while the Wildcats move to No. 20. Wisconsin and Purdue are now on track to play in Week 12 for what is likely a spot in the Big Ten Championship Game.

Dropping out of the list were SMU and Army, who both suffered losses this weekend. They were replaced on the list by North Carolina and Louisiana, who picked up huge wins.
Assuming no games get canceled in Week 12 – fingers crossed! – there are some big matchups to look forward to. There’s the aforementioned Wisconsin-Northwestern game, but also what may be a Big Ten East title game between Ohio State and Indiana.
We also get Oklahoma vs. Oklahoma State, Clemson vs. FSU, Texas A&M vs. Ole Miss and USC vs. Utah.
