Graduating from high school only to be immediately drafted into the NBA might sound crazy. But that used to happen to many former and current NBA players.
Now, according to a rule that was installed in 2006, basketball players are only eligible for draft selection one year after graduating from high school. The players must also be at least 19 years old at the end of the calendar year of the draft.
