Houston is steamrolling Tulane tonight, but all is not well with the Cougars. D'Eriq King was just carted off the field.

King exited the game after a freak, non-contact injury late in the second quarter. He wasn't even involved in the play.

King made it to the sideline but had to be carted into the locker room. He was replaced by Clayton Tune.

Entering tonight's game, King had thrown for 2,900 yards, 35 touchdowns and only six interceptions. He had compiled 592 rushing yards and 13 scores as well.

Before getting injured, King rushed for 82 yards and a score tonight while throwing for 82 yards and one touchdown as well.

We'll keep you posted on the star junior's status.
