Khalif Wyatt and Temple gave the 1-seed Indiana Hoosiers quite a scare. The Owls led for most of the way, but Indiana showed its toughness and resiliency, battling back in the game's final minutes.
With 44 seconds to play, Temple trailed by one and needed one defensive stop to get a chance to win the game in regulation. Indiana proceeded to milk the shot clock for as long as it could, and Cody Zeller eventually found a wide-open Victor Oladipo at the top of the three-point arc. He buried the shot and the clock struck midnight on Temple's Cinderella dreams.
