Former Notre Dame OL Parker Boudreaux Transferring To UCF

Former Notre Dame offensive lineman and three-star recruit Parker Boudreaux has chosen his next college program: the UCF Knights.

Boudreaux, who chose the Fighting Irish over schools like Clemson, Florida, and Oklahoma as a member of the class of 2016, made the announcement via Twitter earlier tonight.

Head coach Brian Kelly granted Boudreaux his release last week:

"We thank Parker for his work, dedication and commitment to our program over the last year and wish him nthing but the best moving forward."

The Orlando native did not play for the Fighting Irish last season. As a high school recruit out of Bishop Moore Catholic, he was ranked No. 18 among offensive guards, and No. 55 in the state of Florida.

Scott Frost and UCF should be pretty happy with this pickup, as Boudreaux is a pretty high level player for an AAC program.
