UCF may not be playing in either of tonight's College Football Playoff semifinals, but at least one person considers the Knights national champions.

The Knights pulled out a big 34-27 Peach Bowl win over Auburn today, clinching an undefeated season, and giving UCF a win over a team that beat two of the teams in the College Football Playoff: Alabama and Georgia.

The win has increased discussion online about expanding the Playoff field to six or eight teams so that a Group of Five team as good as this year's Central Florida squad bunch could get a shot. Nebraska, which hired UCF head coach Scott Frost who stayed on to coach the Knights in this final game, agrees.

After the game, UCF athletic director Danny White took things a step further. He went out and declared his 13-0 team national champions.

Print the national champions shirts so we know its real, Danny.
