In late November, Kentucky junior quarterback Patrick Towles announced he’d be transferring after the season. Friday, he announced his destination. Towles, who started nine games for the Wildcats in 2015 but eventually lost his starting job, is headed to Boston College. Towles announced the news on his Instagram account.
Towles finished the 2015 campaign 183-of-326 for 2,148 yards, nine touchdowns and 14 interceptions. He will attempt to turn around one of college football’s worst offenses. The Eagles sported the lowest-scoring unit in the ACC this past year.
