Louisville vs. Boston College preview:

The Cardinals (7-1) enter the contest after barely escaping Virginia last week with a 32-25 win. They scored the game winning touchdown with less than one minute remaining. Boston College (4-4) is fresh off of a nice win at home over NC State last week 21-14.

The Eagles put up 386 yards of total offense against the Wolfpack including 168 rushing yards. Running back Jon Hilliman had 20 carries on the day as he rushed for 74 yards. Patrick Towles threw for 204 yards and one interception in the win.

Lamar Jackson put on another show against Virginia with 361 passing yards and four touchdowns through the air. The Heisman Trophy hopeful also ran for 88 yards on 17 carries. Louisville put up 508 yards of total offense against the Cavaliers.

Louisville topped Boston College last season 17-14 in Louisville.

Louisville vs. Boston College Prediction:

Louisville has far too much firepower for Boston College and this one could turn ugly in a hurry. Boston College's defense does rank seventh in the country allowing just 299 yards per game, but nobody has been able to shut down Jackson and the Cardinals' offense this season.

Boston College will have trouble getting anything going offensively and the Cardinals take this one on the road.
