Photo: Boston College Following In Michigan's Footsteps, Offering Free Tickets With Purchase Of BC Lids' Hat

Michigan apparently isn't the only athletic department offering free tickets to a sporting event with the purchase of a product. 

A day after a photo of a marketing campaign by Michigan and Coke surfaced, a Boston College-themed offer at Lids' store has. 

With the purchase of a Boston College hat, one will receive two tickets to the Eagles' March 3 men's basketball game against Virginia.

Multiple times during the 2013-14 season, BC failed to get more than 2,000 people to attend a home game, so this promotion actually makes sense.
