Clemson hosted a five-star wide receiver today, and it looks like the Tigers left a great impression.
Phenix City (Ala.) Central five-star wide receiver Justyn Ross took an unofficial visit to Clemson today. The Tigers are one of over 20 programs to offer Ross a scholarship.
By the looks of things, the 6-foot-4, 197-pound standout enjoyed himself. On Twitter, he called the visit "one of the best" he's ever been on and even tagged Clemson five-star quarterback commit Trevor Lawrence in the tweet.
Clemson linebacker commit Jake Venables tried to do some recruiting of Ross in response.
Ross is the top player in Alabama and No. 4 wide receiver in the 2018 class, according to 247Sports' Composite Rankings.
As of now, it looks like he could look to stay local for college, but maybe today's visit changed that.
