Following a disappointing finish to the 2018 season, the Tennessee Titans are looking to revamp their roster. Well, it’s clear that management wanted to add playmakers on offense, as they reached an agreement with Adam Humphries.
Despite all the talent on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Humphries still found ways to shine. Now, he’ll have the chance to become a reliable target for Marcus Mariota.
The Titans have major needs on offense and don’t have much help at wide receiver outside of Corey Davis. Acquiring another target to help improve that side of the ball will certainly help.
NFL Network insider Mike Garafolo revealed the details of the signing, as Humphries will earn $36 million over four years.

Humphries had 76 receptions for 816 yards and five touchdowns in 2018. For his career, the former Clemson product has 219 catches for 2,329 receiving yards.
At 25 years old, the shifty wideout will have the opportunity to continue establishing himself as an excellent option on third down.
Tennessee was one win away from making the postseason this past season. Ultimately the inability to sustain success on offense was its undoing.
With Humphries in town for the foreseeable future, it’ll be worth monitoring how his skillset translates to a new system.
