Late in the third quarter of the Orange Bowl, it certainly looks like we're getting the third Alabama vs. Clemson national championship match-up in four years.

Clemson dominated the Cotton Bowl this afternoon, keeping Notre Dame out of the end zone en route to a 30-3 win.

Alabama leads Oklahoma 31-20. Kyler Murray just connected with Charleston Rambo on a gorgeous 49-yard touchdown pass.

The play has given Oklahoma some life here, but Alabama is still a heavy favorite to finish this one off.

It is probably still a bit premature, but we're already starting to see some odds on that projected match-up.

Per Stadium's Brett McMurphy, Alabama is currently being treated as a 6.5-point favorite against Clemson.

The Crimson Tide have gone pretty much wire-to-wire as the top team in the country this season.

Still, Clemson hasn't been too far off. The Tigers are also undefeated, and looked truly dominant against Notre Dame.

With Tua Tagovailoa looking pretty healthy in Miami tonight, and Trevor Lawrence improving by the week, along with two of the best defensive fronts in college football, on paper this is a great match-up.

Alabama is 8-5 against the spread this season. Clemson is 8-6 with today's easy cover.
