Photo: Clemson's Ben Boulware Trolls South Carolina By Signing Helmet

Former Clemson LB Ben Boulware proclaimed the Tigers' dominance of South Carolina by signing a Gamecocks helmet today.

Clemson linebacker Ben Boulware is a South Carolina native, and he let everyone know who the top dog in the state was today when, in the ultimate form of trolling, he signed a South Carolina Gamecocks helmet with his name and the 56-7 final score of this year's Clemson win over South Carolina, in a tiger paw. It also says "2016-17 National Champions!" That's not subtle at all.

Check it out:

That's some good trolling, folks, but it wasn't without precedent. It was absolutely a response to what former South Carolina quarterback Connor Shaw did last year. You see, he never lost to the Tigers during his time with the Gamecocks, and he signed a Clemson helmet in the ultimate show of disrespect.

It looks like Boulware definitely got the last laugh on this one. Shaw even acknowledged with a tweet that he had just been owned.

Fair enough, indeed.
