Clemson football wasn't without its distractions in the lead up to today's Cotton Bowl, with the Dexter Lawrence situation arising mid-week.

Lawrence, one of the Tigers' four all-world defensive linemen, failed a drug test for trace amounts of the banned substance ostarine.

Luckily, Brent Venables' infamous front still had Christian Wilkins.

And Austin Bryant.

And Clelin Ferrell.

That is three more incredible linemen than almost any other team this side of Alabama has, and they were dominant yet again in today's 30-3 blowout of Notre Dame.

After the game, Clelin Ferrell revealed the undershirt that he wore to honor the suspended Dexter Lawrence.

On the orange shirt, he wrote "This is for Big Dex."

Lawrence and the other two suspended Clemson players who tested for the same substance claim that they do not know how it got in their systems.

Clemson will play the Orange Bowl winner between Alabama and Oklahoma. The Crimson Tide have an early 7-0 lead a few minutes into the second semifinal game.
