Brooks totaled 246 yards on 48 carries in 2013. He also had 83 yards receiving, including this 31-yard touchdown against Georgia.

With Brooks out, senior D.J. Howard and C.J. Davidson will likely receive the majority of the carries.

Clemson opens the season Aug. 30 against Georgia in Athens.
