Clemson Coach Dabo Swinney Says Deshaun Watson Will Start At Quarterback Against Georgia Tech

It's been a while since Clemson QB Deshaun Watson played. Watson suffered a hand injury on Oct. 11 and hasn't seen the field since. Tigers coach Dabo Swinney provided an update on his star freshman's status today, and he has some good news: Watson will start on Saturday, Nov. 15 when Clemson takes on Georgia Tech.

Swinney told reporters earlier this week that Watson would be available during the team's game against Wake Forest if he was needed. However, Clemson was able to fend off the Demon Deacons, and Watson didn't play.

The Tigers will travel to Bobby Dodd Stadium and take on Georgia Tech this week. The game is scheduled to kick off at 12:00 P.M. EST and you can watch it on ESPN.
