Clemson loses a lot off of a defense that ranked No. 3 nationally in scoring defense in 2014, but the Tigers are working to reload on that side of the ball. On Friday night, Dabo Swinney and his staff landed a commitment from one of the nation's top linebackers, four-star Roswell, GA native Tre Lamar.

Lamar went into further detail about his decision with OrangeandWhite.com.
“I just had a good feeling about it and it just felt like the most comfortable place, a home away from home for me,” Lamar said. “I will fit in well. I definitely had a good feeling about it. I don’t have any little feelings about somewhere else. I definitely feel like Clemson was the right place.”
Lamar, who compiled 127 tackles and four sacks at Roswell High School last season, says that he is finished being recruited, and won't take any more visits.
