Clemson Football Intern Tweets Real Story About Chad Kelly's "Fender-Bender"

Earlier today, it was announced that Clemson quarterback Chad Kelly, just a redshirt freshman, had been kicked off of the Tigers football squad for "conduct detrimental to the team". There were initial reports that Kelly had been arrested during practice after a "fender bender" incident that took place this past Saturday. The school did not release any information regarding the situation, leaving many to speculate.

Well, a few hours later, we're getting some clarity from one of the interns for the football team. Ali A Rogers, who won the 2012 Miss South Carolina competition and returned to school to resume her academic career, tweeted out the story of exactly what happened. She claims that the incident took place this past Thursday night, but that it was not the reason that Kelly was booted from the team.

While Kelly may not have been kicked off the team for the transgression, it surely couldn't have helped his cause. Kelly, who was taking a lot of heat on the social media network, has since deleted his Twitter account.
