Clemson football is bringing in a big class for 2019, with 26 players signing with the Tigers on Wednesday. Most of those guys will be on campus very soon.

Dabo Swinney was very excited about the group, when speaking to the media on Wednesday.

Clemson's 2019 class is ranked at the top of the ACC, and No. 7 overall for the cycle.

Dabo Swinney announced that 16 of the 26 Clemson football signees will be enrolling early.

That would be a high mark for the program, which comes as no surprise. Just a few years ago, it was rare for most teams to bring in more than a handful of early enrollees.

Now, well more than half of Clemson's 2019 class will be on campus for the spring semester, and spring football.

From the Independent Mail:

“It never ends,” Swinney said. “You’ve got guys going out the door and guys coming in the door.”

Swinney announced an early Signing Day class of 26 players who signed National Letters of Intent, including 16 of whom plan to be early enrollees in January, which would be an all-time high for the program.

“This is one of these days that each and every year the program is measured by,” Swinney said. “We definitely feel like we got better, for sure. For me it’s always exciting when a guy chooses to come to Clemson. These guys all had many, many opportunities. I appreciate all of them for believing in us.”

Overall, it is the biggest class that Clemson has had since 2011, when the Tigers brought in 29 players. Of course, this class might not be done yet.

National Signing Day isn't until February, and after some Tigers make NFL Draft decisions, there's a possibility of Clemson having a few more scholarships to fill.
