The Clemson Tigers are laying the wood on Auburn tonight.

Clemson, the No. 5 seed in the Midwest Region, are thoroughly destroying Auburn. They lead by more than 30 points midway through the second half.

Auburn is shooting 19 percent from the field, which is a good way to fall behind by 30 or more. The SEC regular season champs just don't have it tonight.

Clemson hasn't made a Sweet 16 since 1997. That is about to change.

Brad Brownell's team will now move on to play top-seeded Kansas on Friday in Omaha. They'll be up against a hostile crowd in that game.

If Clemson knocks off KU, they will face a familiar foe in the Elite Eight. The other regional semifinal features Duke and Syracuse, two other ACC teams.

We'll update you on the time of Clemson's next game when tip times and TV info is announced later tonight.
