NC State head coach Dave Doeren was not happy after his Wolfpack lost to Clemson, 38-31, and he thinks some chicanery may have been afoot.
NC State gave the defending national champs a serious run, but Clemson took control of the game in the third quarter. Down 38-31 with 1:20 left, Wolfpack quarterback Ryan Finley had a promising 10-play drive going, but on the game’s final play, K’Von Wallace picked him off to seal the win.
Doeren got out some gripes after the game. During his press conference, he criticized the officials, and also questioned a laptop on Clemson’s sideline.

Apparently the laptop was not being used by the staff, but a student member of Clemson’s acclaimed social media team.
Dabo on laptop: “Ha ha ha.” Clemson SID said it belonged to member of school’s social media team.

Dabo chuckled, said he knew nothing about it. School spokesman chimed in and said it was a "student social media team member"

It’s unclear what Doeren thought Clemson would be doing with a laptop on the sideline to give them an advantage, but it really comes off like sour grapes.
