One of the most-dominant players from the 2018 college football season is taking his talents to the next level. On Thursday night, Clemson star defensive lineman Clelin Ferrell took to Twitter to announce his plans to enter the 2019 NFL Draft.
Deep down Clemson fans had to know this was coming, though they undoubtedly hoped to see him return for a run at another title. Ferrell had a message for the Clemson faithful before he left.
“And to the Clemson Family, you all are the best fans in the world and you are the reason why this decision is so hard, because the people here are what make it so special…With that being said, I am excited to announce that I will be declaring for the NFL Draft this year and will continue to chase my dream of being the best me I can be,” Ferrell said on Twitter.
