While most of the conference title games this weekend are expected to be close, the Clemson-Virginia matchup in the ACC Championship Game is expected to be very one-sided.
Clemson comes into this game on a 27-game winning streak, and winner of the last four ACC Championship Games against four different teams. The Tigers have completely overcome the issues of their narrow win over North Carolina. In the process, they’ve outscored their last seven foes by at least 31 points in every game.
Virginia has quietly put together a nice run of its own, winning four straight games and finishing with a 9-3 record. The Cavaliers have been outscoring opponents by an average of ten points 33.7-23.5, and they even took mighty Notre Dame to the limit in their regular season meeting.
Considering that The Tigers have scored at least 38 points in those four title games, while Virginia has scored that many points only once outside of Scott Stadium, the four touchdown spread shouldn’t be too surprising.

Here are the details for the game:
Game Time: 7:30 PM ET
Spread: Clemson -28.5
Announcers: Steve Levy, Brian Griese, Todd McShay, Maria Taylor
Clemson has thoroughly dominated every opponent they’ve come across since October. There’s very little reason to believe that Virginia can succeed where the likes of Texas A&M and others have fallen so short.
But if the Cavaliers can pull off the win and claim their first conference title since 1995, it might go down as one the biggest upsets of the decade.
