Clemson WR Commit Announces He'll Need Surgery To Repair A Torn Labrum

Clemson four-star wide receiver commit Amari Rodgers, one of the prized recruits in the Tigers' 2017 class, will be missing a good portion of his senior season this fall. Monday morning, Rodgers informed his Twitter followers that he'll be having surgery to repair a torn labrum that he suffered a few weeks back during a 7-on-7 tournament.

Rodgers, who called it a "minor setback for a major comeback", said he wants to fix the issue "sooner rather than later."

Rodgers, according to Rivals, is a 5-foot-9, 195-pound star from Knoxville, Tennessee. Let's hope he's back on the field as soon as possible.
