Clemson's Deshaun Watson Remains Favorite In Latest Early Heisman Odds

Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson was made the favorite for the 2016 Heisman Trophy when Bovada released its early odds in January. This week, the Las Vegas SuperBook released its first Heisman odds of the year, and Watson once again tops the list.

The dynamic dual-threat, who finished third in the Heisman voting in 2015, is listed at 5-1. LSU running back Leonard Fournette and Stanford running back Christian McCaffrey (the 2015 Heisman runner-up) are next at 6-1. Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield checks in at 10-1, with Florida State running back Dalvin Cook and Baylor quarterback Seth Russell going off at 12-1.

Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett and Georgia running back Nick Chubb have 15-1 odds, with Ole Miss quarterback Chad Kelly, Notre Dame quarterback DeShone Kizer, UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen and Oklahoma running back Samaje Perine all rolling in at 20-1.

There's certainly a lot of talent in that group, and any of those guys could walk away with the trophy.
