Clemson wasn't supposed to beat Oklahoma. That's what the oddsmakers thought, anyway. The No. 1 Tigers were an underdog against the Sooners in the Orange Bowl contest. ESPN's FPI gave Clemson a 37 percent chance to win.
Of course, the FPI was wrong, as Clemson dominated Oklahoma, 37-17, to make it to the national title game.
The Tigers will be underdogs once again, though. ESPN's FPI is giving Clemson a 38 percent chance to beat Alabama. Jeff Scott, a wide receivers coach for the Tigers, finds this funny.
