Clemson's Wide Receivers Coach Laughs At ESPN's FPI Ahead Of National Title Game

ESPN's FPI shows Clemson as underdog against Oklahoma.

Clemson Underdogs

Clemson wasn't supposed to beat Oklahoma. That's what the oddsmakers thought, anyway. The No. 1 Tigers were an underdog against the Sooners in the Orange Bowl contest. ESPN's FPI gave Clemson a 37 percent chance to win.

Of course, the FPI was wrong, as Clemson dominated Oklahoma, 37-17, to make it to the national title game.

The Tigers will be underdogs once again, though. ESPN's FPI is giving Clemson a 38 percent chance to beat Alabama. Jeff Scott, a wide receivers coach for the Tigers, finds this funny.
