A Clemson offer carries a lot of weight these days. With two national titles in three years, plenty of top recruits have flocked to play for Dabo Swinney's powerhouse in the ACC.

Top 2021 cornerback Corey Collier may soon join that list. The 247Sports composite four-star player landed a Tigers offer, and it could be a gamechanger in his recruitment.

Collier is ranked No. 47 overall, and No. 3 at his position at 247. The Miami native is the sixth-ranked Florida recruit in the class.

Rivals is incredibly bullish on him. The site has him ranked No. 1 among corners, and No. 6 overall, and has given him a fifth star.

When asked about the new Clemson offer, Corey Collier revealed that the Tigers are now his top school.

From The Clemson Insider:

Asked where the Tigers stand in his recruitment now that they’ve offered, Collier had a simple answer.

“Number 1,” he said.

Collier said he will look closely at a few main factors when he makes his college decision in the future: “the education, the area, then the football team.”

Clemson still has work to do, but when a prospect admits that a team is on top, that is obviously a good early sign.
