Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney was asked about his vote in the Coaches' Poll last week.

Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney has a vote in the Coaches' Poll every Sunday, and last week, controversially, he ranked Ohio State No. 4 and Alabama No. 5. Luckily for the Crimson Tide, the College Football Playoff selection committee didn't agree.

This week, Swinney was asked by reporters why he ranked Ohio State ahead of Alabama. The back-and-forth was interesting. Swinney joked that it was a "moment of insanity" - then gave some reasoning. This was all in front of Nick Saban.

Swinney and his Tigers will take on Alabama in the Sugar Bowl on New Year's Day. We'll see who wins round three.
